The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) is a State owned University established by the Government of Kenya under the Universities Act 2012. CUK is located in Karen, approximately 20km from Nairobi City Centre, in a very conducive environment for serious academic engagement and learning. CUK invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons with excellent credentials to fill in the following vacant positions:-


Applicants should meet the following requirements:-
i. Must have earned a PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Cooperatives
Management or relevant field from a recognized/accredited university;
ii. Must be a Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer with at least three (3) years
teaching and research experience since their last appointment;
iii. Must have a minimum of five (5) publications in referred scholarly journals since their last appointment;
iv. Must have supervised a minimum of five (5) postgraduate students to completion, at least one (1) at Doctoral level;
v. Must be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable); and
vi. Must have attracted research or development funds since their last appointment;

d. Criminal Investigation Department ( Certificate of Good Conduct); and
e. Registered Credit Reference Bureau
In addition, those with academic qualifications obtained from foreign Universities will be
expected to undertake recognition and equation of their certificates from the Commission of
University Education (CUE
